Mia Crew brings a unique combination of housing expertise, organizational leadership, community engagement, and business management to her role as Executive Director of Essence of Hope, Inc. Her passion for helping individuals and families achieve stability and self-sufficiency has been a driving force throughout her career and volunteer service.

As a Georgia Associate Broker, licensed Realtor, and long-time volunteer with Essence of Hope, Mia possesses extensive knowledge of housing access, housing stabilization, workforce development, and the barriers many individuals face when working to rebuild their lives. Her firsthand experience supporting vulnerable populations has provided valuable insight into the critical role that safe housing, supportive services, and employment opportunities play in long-term success.

Mia holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Leadership from Mercer University and an Associate Degree in Business Administration from Georgia State University. Her educational background, combined with years of professional experience, has equipped her with strong strategic planning, operational management, and team leadership skills.

Before assuming the role of Executive Director, Mia dedicated countless hours to supporting Essence of Hope's mission through volunteer service, community outreach initiatives, housing assistance programs, workforce readiness efforts, and client stabilization services. Throughout her career, she has successfully led teams, managed complex projects, and served as a liaison between government agencies, community partners, and high-profile organizations.

Mia's corporate background spans sales, marketing, engineering, and customer service leadership, providing her with a well-rounded business perspective that strengthens organizational growth and sustainability. Her commitment to excellence is further demonstrated by her achievement of Life Member Status with the Atlanta Realtor Association, recognizing her consistent ranking among the top 10 percent of more than 10,000 real estate professionals in the region.

After a successful career in corporate America, Mia chose to dedicate her professional expertise and leadership abilities to serving her community. As Executive Director, she remains committed to expanding access to safe housing, supportive services, and economic opportunities that empower individuals and families to achieve lasting stability and independence.
